FilVetRep chairman Major General, U.S. Army Retired Antonio M. Taguba was honored earlier this month at Positively Filipino’s third annual “Building Communities: A Tribute to Our Manongs and Manangs.”
A packed Koret Auditorium at the San Francisco Public Library served as the backdrop on Saturday, August 8, 2026, for a moving three-hour afternoon program honoring 12 Filipino American leaders.
Organized by Positively Filipino, a premier digital magazine chronicling the global Filipino story in all its complexity, in partnership with Cris and Evelyn Raimundo, Publisher Mona Lisa Yuchengco described the honorees as true “living treasures” who have safeguarded culture and carved out paths for future generations.
