Registration is now open for the 2026 Bataan Memorial Death March on the Potomac – Saturday, April 18, 2026. Let’s honor our heroes for their service and sacrifice, fighting under the American Flag in World War II.
The run/walk will start and end at Fort Hunt Park Pavilion 1 along the Potomac River. Check-in starts at 10:00 AM and marchers can choose to do 4, 10, or 14 miles along a scenic route along the Potomac River. It is not a race, it is a commemoration.
This march honors the fallen of Bataan and Corregidor. Over 10,000 Filipinos and 8,000 Americans perished on the march to prison camps after the surrender on Bataan on April 9, 1942.
Registration closes April 15, 2026.
